Bollywood's booming

Well as many of you may know, the Wirral News team is now based in Liverpool and writes about Wirral for the Liverpool Echo, Daily Post and the Wirral News.

So this week I discovered Bollywood dancing is booming in Wirral and wrote an article about it for the News and a feature for the Echo, which appeared in print yesterday.

Like many, my interest in Bollywood heightened after watching Slumdog Millionaire.

The dancing at the end of the film looks like so much fun and when I heard about women going crazy for Bollywood classes in Wirral, I had to tell everyone about it.

Turns out loads of people wanted to hear about it because my video got a lot of hits.

And now Granada Reports is doing a special feature on the same Bollywood class I did - I think it will be on the news tonight.

I haven't actually tried any of the dancing myself yet but as a fitness instructor whose mum teaches it, I know I will have to have a go soon because she wants me to take one of her classes when she goes on holiday in the summer - best start shaking my hips soon I guess.
