Twitter crazy

By Carrie on Feb 24, 09 04:36 PM

Everybody is talking about it, so I thought I best get on the twitter case as well.

To be totally honest I'm not entirely convinced there's much point to it.

I've been hearing the word "twitter" intermittently for a while now, but lately I'm hearing it being tweeted (sorry) all over the place.

There was a programme about it last week on Radio 4.

I came to Old Hall Street (Echo and Daily Post building) for a meeting last week and all the journalists there were talking about creme eggs because someone had been twittering about how they ate theirs.

Then I moved into Old Hall Street on Friday and everyone was still talking about it - not creme eggs, twitter !

So I'm now onboard. Not that I'd follow people into a fire or jump off a cliff if everyone was doing it - I just want to see what all the fuss is about.

Let me know your views on twitter, or even better follow me or I'll follow you. Ahh twitter, twitter, twitter !

Hi Carrie
I am fairly new on the Twitter front myself. I wouldn't bother with telling people what I had for breakfast or what I'm watching on telly but I do use it to let my ward residents what I am up to. I like its simplicity and that you can't ramble on so you stick to the facts. I love it and are beginning to see the benefits!

Yours tweetingly

I love Twitter. A twitter search will always give you eye-witness information on breaking news around the world.

Unfortunately, like Facebook, it consumes vast amounts of time!
